KIF is a new investment company comprised of real estate and foreign exchange investment vehicles.  This is a shariah compliant investment entity enabling the average investor to expose their capital to real estate within global emerging markets, and alternatively or simultaneously invest in currency trading.

REAL ESTATE:

The current managed assets under KIF’s umbrella are valued at 33,866,663.08 AED (4.7 million GBP approx).

The aim is to offer investors an absolute return of plus 30% on a variable maturity term.  For example, investors will be approached when an attractive option is available within global emerging markets and upon subsequent commitment they will be locked in until the asset is off loaded.  The maturity will be determined by the underlying asset and of course market liquidity and any investor will be advised of forecasted turnaround and return.

FX:

In addition to the real estate opportunities available KIF is managing funds for an FX investment entity.  The fund is relatively small as it was launched on May 1st and the second round of subscriptions is currently in progress.  Current returns are between 5-10% a month and only quarterly redemptions will be issued.  Quarterly compounded returns are being forecasted at 15-25% on amount invested.

NOTE: investing in real estate and foreign exchange represent different levels of risk and KIF will stress the importance of seeking independent financial advice from an FSA regulated entity.  You have to be aware of the risk to your capital.  KIF will provide you information to illustrate historical, current and forecasted gains which should help towards an investment decision but ultimately you have to be aware of the risk of losses.
